This survey reveals the pulse on how business architects are leveraging business architecture for value in their organizations.
Here are two analysis conclusions worth mentioning:
- The top current/planned uses of business architecture were definitively strategy execution, business and IT alignment, and business and digital transformation. This was followed by initiative planning, and business and technology decision-making. These results indicate the increasingly strategic usage and positioning of business architecture.
- There’s also a story around the breadth of use for business architecture. In this survey alone, participants indicated that they use the discipline for 30 different usage scenarios (plus additional examples shared in the Other category).
